Up to 10 talented new entrants will get the chance to kick-start their careers in the music industry thanks to an apprenticeship scheme created by the BPI and funded in large part by The BRIT Trust with money raised by the BRIT Awards.
Established in 2017, The BRITs Apprentice Scheme is open to 18 years and over, and will gives up to 10 young people from the UK a unique, high quality, paid opportunity to work at a top independent record label or music company, learn about the recorded music industry, receive practical ‘hands on’ experience, develop relevant skills and make key contacts.
Apprenticeships are an important way to help bring in new and diverse talent into the industry and are in line with the Government’s commitment to education, skills and training.
Candidates can apply for more than one apprenticeship. However, they must submit a separate application for each role.
