The BRIT School Celebrates Strong GSCE, A Level and Vocational Results
It was an exceptional day for vocational and academic achievements at The BRIT School and once again we are delighted with the students’ exam results at Post 16 and Key Stage 4.
27.2% of all entries at GCSE were A*-A grades, and an impressive 72.6% at A*-C grades. We are delighted that 91.7% of students achieved a Grade 4 or above in English and 75.1% achieved a Grade 4 or above in Maths. Results for both Maths and English are well above National average.
100% of students gained the equivalent to A*-C/9-4 GCSE grades across all of the seven specialist creative subjects. 39% of students achieved a Distinction* in a BTEC Level 2 First Certificate
Principal Stuart Worden said, “The School is really pleased for students and the results show that hard work really does pay off. Results for both Maths and English are well above National average. As a creative institution, I am particularly proud of students who achieved top grades of 9 in English and Maths and Distinction* in their specialist arts subjects. You can come to The BRIT School and get a head start in your creative and performing arts career and gain brilliant academic results in GCSEs and A Levels too. Everything is possible”.
Molly Jones (pictured in the middle) was one of the highest achievers and said, “I honestly think I did so much better here than I would if I studied GCSEs at my old school. I got to study the same academics as everyone else as well as the bonus of studying Musical Theatre.”
Louis Ezeoke (left) said, “I got an A* in Physics and Chemistry. Physics is going to help me because I want to work in music production when I’m older”.
