Mel Fox is SVP, Communications and Strategy Development at Warner Music UK, where she works closely with Chairman and CEO Max Lousada as well as departments across the business to help define, articulate and accelerate the company’s continued transformation and growth.
She has worked for Warner Music since 2006, initially leading external and internal communications for the company’s International and UK affiliates and spearheading communications around key moments in Warner’s recent history including the company’s entry into the Russian market through the purchase of Gala Records and the integration of Parlophone Label Group in 11 markets across Europe.
Prior to Warner Music, Fox was VP, Communications for MTV UK & Ireland, heading up corporate and consumer PR for the company’s family of channels, and has also worked with The Walt Disney Company and Yahoo!.
Mel played an intrinsic role as PR executive for the BRIT Awards team whilst Max Lousada was its Chairman (2015 and 2016).
Her communications experience as well as her focus on organisational and culture change helps support the BRIT Trust’s evolving programme of educational and therapeutic initiatives.
